C4 Original Watermelon is a specific Cellucor pre-workout flavor, but its formula generation matters. The current US manufacturer listing shows a yellow, fifth-generation, 30-serving tub. Older C4 Original listings remain online, and their caffeine amounts should not be carried over to this version.

What the current Watermelon label contains

The current Watermelon variant uses an approximately 8.9 g level scoop. Its posted Supplement Facts panel lists:

  • 200 mg caffeine anhydrous
  • 2 g CarnoSyn beta-alanine
  • 1.2 g L-citrulline and 1.2 g L-arginine in the Velox blend
  • 1 g creatine nitrate
  • 100 mg PeptiPump bioactive lentil peptides
  • 5 mg toothed clubmoss extract, standardized to 1% huperzine A

The panel also lists choline and several B vitamins. These are labeled ingredient amounts, not independently verified results from a finished-product trial. In particular, one gram of creatine nitrate is not the same measurement as one gram of creatine monohydrate.

Why some listings say 150 mg

Cellucor still has an older C4 Original page describing 150 mg caffeine. That discrepancy reflects different listings, not a reason to average the numbers. Match the Supplement Facts on your actual container to its product name, flavor and serving size. C4 Ultimate, Sport, energy drinks and licensed candy flavors also require their own labels.

Using the information sensibly

Cellucor’s current directions specify one scoop in 6–8 ounces of water, 20–30 minutes before training. Its warnings prohibit combining this product with other caffeine or stimulants and limit it to healthy adults. Read the complete medication, pregnancy and medical-condition restrictions before considering use.

The FDA notes that caffeine sensitivity varies and too much can cause sleep problems, anxiety and increased heart rate. A familiar brand name does not establish your personal tolerance.

Watermelon describes the flavor; it does not establish superior performance, recovery or tolerability. This is a label guide, not a taste test or a claim that every user will experience the same workout.
