EHPlabs is a brand, not a single pre-workout formula. Its pages refer to products including HECTIC, PRIDE, PSI, and OxyShred variants. Product names, regional availability, and caffeine levels matter more than a broad claim about what “EHP Labs pre-workout” contains.
HECTIC differs by regional listing
The current Australian HECTIC product page states that two scoops supply 400 mg caffeine. It also describes 6 g L-citrulline and 5 g beta-alanine at the featured full serving. Those figures belong to that Australian listing.
The Canadian HECTIC listing instead describes 300 mg caffeine and 5 g L-citrulline per daily dose. The shared name therefore should not be treated as proof that the formulas or instructions are identical. Use the label for your market and the actual product being sold.
What about PRIDE and PSI?
EHPlabs’ 2021 PRIDE introduction describes a caffeinated formula without beta-alanine and distinguishes it from the non-stimulant PSI product. That historical explanation helps identify older tubs; it does not establish current stock in every country.
The U.S. site’s category copy still discusses older product names. Do not interpret a mention in a category description as confirmation that a specific flavor or formula is currently available. Check the individual product listing and seller before ordering.
How to narrow your choice
- Choose your market first. Record the country, full product name, and serving size together.
- Check caffeine before flavor. Decide whether the labeled amount fits your needs before comparing the rest of the formula.
- Separate product categories. A thermogenic powder, caffeinated energy drink, and multi-ingredient pre-workout are not automatically interchangeable.
- Compare like servings. One scoop from one tub can represent a different fraction of a serving from one scoop of another.
High stimulant content calls for caution
The FDA’s caffeine guidance cites 400 mg per day for most adults as an amount generally not associated with negative effects, while emphasizing individual variation. This is not a target or a guarantee that a 400 mg serving is appropriate.
Do not stack HECTIC with other stimulant products. Its Canadian listing specifically warns against combining it with caffeine-containing products. Marketing language about smooth energy or no crash should not be interpreted as protection against side effects.
A useful EHPlabs comparison starts with the exact product and country. Once those are clear, the label can support a meaningful decision; the brand name by itself cannot.
