Glaxon Specimen is a named pre-workout family. The manufacturer identifies Specimen Genesis as a stimulant pre-workout, while PEZ Specimen Max has a different formula. Neither should be treated as an unspecified recovery powder to combine casually with another caffeinated pre-workout.
What the Genesis panel shows
The official Genesis Supplement Facts, reviewed October 13, 2026, use two scoops, weighing 15 g, as one serving. The container provides 21 servings. That means 42 scoops, rather than 42 full servings.
- Caffeine anhydrous: 300 mg
- Beta-alanine: 3,200 mg
- Betaine nitrate as NO3-T: 2,000 mg
- D-beta-hydroxybutyrate magnesium and calcium salts as goBHB: 1,500 mg
- Betaine anhydrous: 1,250 mg
- Astrolyte electrolyte blend: 1,100 mg
- Choline bitartrate as VitaCholine: 200 mg; CDP-choline as Cognizin: 100 mg
The panel also names velvet bean and English ivy extracts. It does not list citrulline. An ingredient commonly found in other pre-workouts cannot be assumed to appear here.
Keep ingredient forms separate
Two grams of betaine nitrate is not two grams of betaine anhydrous or isolated nitrate. Similarly, the 1,500 mg goBHB entry is a salt preparation, not a separately disclosed 1,500 mg mineral dose. The nutrient section and ingredient section describe overlapping material in different ways: do not add their figures together to create an inflated total.
Genesis declares 103 mg choline in its nutrient section. That is not the same measurement as 200 mg choline bitartrate ingredient mass. Astrolyte’s total also includes fructooligosaccharides, so 1,100 mg should not be described as 1,100 mg sodium.
Specimen Max is a different comparison
The PEZ Max panel also uses two scoops and 15 g, but lists 400 mg caffeine, 3,200 mg beta-alanine and 2,500 mg betaine anhydrous. It includes 3 mg Rauwolfia root-bark extract and 2 mg yohimbe root-bark extract. Those extract weights do not establish 5 mg isolated yohimbine. Its separate candy Nutrition Facts describe the enclosed PEZ, not the powder.
What to check before using it
Match the exact version, flavor and directions on the tub. The photo here shows Genesis Martian Mango, not Max. A caffeine-containing formula cannot promise undisturbed sleep or a jitter-free experience; FDA guidance emphasizes individual sensitivity and total intake. Compare complete labels before considering additional supplements, rather than using the Specimen name as proof of recovery benefits or stack compatibility.
