Helios is a named DNM Nutra product
Helios pre-workout refers here to DNM Nutra’s powder. Searches can also return unrelated products using the Helios name, while retailers distinguish regular Helios from a Limited Edition. The name alone cannot identify a formula. This review, checked October 12, 2026, examines a publicly reproduced Supplement Facts panel and the regulatory issue it raises.
What the inspected panel lists
The Helios label image reproduced by Supps Central states one 11.7 g scoop and 30 servings. Its entries include:
- 3,200 mg beta-alanine and 2,000 mg L-citrulline.
- 1,000 mg choline bitartrate and 400 mg caffeine anhydrous.
- 250 mg N-phenethyl dimethylamine citrate and 250 mg 2-aminoisoheptane.
- 100 mg octopamine HCl, 100 mg theobromine HCl and 3 mg yohimbine HCl.
These are declarations on the inspected image, not independent measurements of a current retail tub. The image is hosted by a retailer, and an active manufacturer-hosted formula was not confirmed. The product photograph also shows older 245 g packaging; 30 servings of 11.7 g would total 351 g. That mismatch prevents treating the photo and panel as one verified batch.
The DMHA concern is central
FDA identifies 2-aminoisoheptane as another name for DMHA. Its current position is that DMHA does not qualify as a dietary ingredient and is an unsafe food additive; FDA considers dietary supplements containing it adulterated under U.S. law. This is a material concern for the inspected Helios formula. A retailer listing, review or statement about a pleasant experience does not resolve it.
The separate caffeine amount is also substantial. FDA cites 400 mg per day for most adults as an amount generally not associated with negative effects, while emphasizing wide individual variation. That reference is not a recommended pre-workout dose, a guarantee for one large serving or an assessment of caffeine combined with other stimulants.
What remains uncertain
The retailer listing places several flavors and a Limited Edition under the Helios name. It does not justify assigning this one panel to every variant, manufacturing date or country. Claims about stronger focus, euphoria or no side effects have not been adopted here.
The useful takeaway is to identify the exact manufacturer, version and physical label before drawing conclusions. This article does not recommend consuming or stacking the inspected formula.
