MUTANT MADNESS, U.S. Fruit Punch 270 g tub. Its energy-complex weight differs from the calculated caffeine yield.

MADNESS is a pre-workout product from MUTANT. This guide covers the U.S. Fruit Punch formula shown by the manufacturer. If your container names another company, this ingredient list does not identify it: check the brand, country and complete product name before comparing formulas.

What one serving contains

The current Fruit Punch package image lists a 9 g scoop and approximately 30 servings. Its 4,000 mg Performance & Pump Blend discloses the components individually:

  • 1,500 mg L-citrulline
  • 1,500 mg beta-alanine
  • 750 mg taurine
  • 250 mg L-tyrosine

These four quantities total 4,000 mg. They should not be confused with a 4 g dose of any single ingredient. The panel also lists vitamin C, niacin, vitamins B6 and B12, calcium and sodium.

515 mg energy complex does not mean 515 mg caffeine

The Caffeine & Energy Complex contains 310 mg caffeine anhydrous and 100 mg caffeine citrate identified as 50% caffeine. Calculating from those declarations gives 360 mg caffeine per scoop: 310 mg plus 50 mg. This is a label-derived calculation, not an independent assay.

The complex also includes 100 mg VitaCholine choline bitartrate, identified as 40% choline, and 5.3 mg BioPerine black pepper extract. Its headline weight therefore includes ingredients other than caffeine. The choline amount calculated from the label is 40 mg, not 100 mg.

Put the dose in context

One scoop already provides a substantial caffeine load. Two would calculate to 720 mg, so do not interpret the website’s two-serving daily maximum as a sensible intake goal. FDA guidance cites 400 mg daily for most adults as generally not associated with negative effects, with important individual differences. Other caffeine sources still count.

A more useful buying comparison

Compare the actual caffeine yield, disclosed ingredient doses and intended portion instead of words such as concentrated or extreme. The NIH review notes that beta-alanine research usually involves repeated supplementation; immediate tingling does not demonstrate better workout performance.

Follow your container’s directions and restrictions, particularly if your regional label differs. The brand’s separate ALL-IN and MIND FK products are not the same formula. This is a manufacturer-label explanation, with no personal taste test or guaranteed training effect implied.
