Pre JYM X: Manufacturer Label-Library Version

JYM’s label library still provides a Pre JYM X Dragonberry PDF: one 36 g scoop, 20 servings. The artwork is version 1.2 dated June 7, 2023 and was checked October 13, 2026. This review concerns that exact label, not proof of current stock or a guarantee that the pictured Tiger’s Blood tub has the same serving mass.

4 g Creatine HCl: Keep the Form Distinction

The PDF lists 4 g creatine HCl. NIH identifies creatine monohydrate as the most widely studied form; this does not establish equivalent results or interchangeable gram doses for creatine HCl. You do not need to assume that a pre-workout’s creatine form performs identically to the monohydrate used in most studies.

4 g Beta-Alanine: Repeated Use Matters

The 4 g beta-alanine entry is explicit. Evidence concerns repeated intake over time, not an immediate benefit inferred from tingling. The label alone does not establish the effect of the entire Pre JYM X mixture.

3 g Betaine: Avoid Double-Counting Nitrate Ingredients

The label declares 3 g betaine from trimethylglycine and betaine nitrate, alongside a separate 1 g betaine-nitrate ingredient entry. Do not add them together as 4 g betaine. It also lists 8 g citrulline malate and 2 g citrulline nitrate; neither is an amount of pure L-citrulline.

Caffeine and Other Stimulants

The same scoop contains 300 mg caffeine, 100 mg methylliberine as Dynamine and 25 mg theacrine as TeaCrine. The label warns against combining it with other caffeinated products. A large scoop or an experienced-user label is not evidence that the combination is safe for a particular person.

The PDF also lists 6 g total BCAAs. That does not establish added benefit when dietary protein is already adequate. Nor does the scoop’s size prove taste, mixability or cost per workout; those were not tested here.

Pre JYM X vs Bucked Up

Bucked Up Black Ant Tropical Punch pre-workout tub
Bucked Up Black Ant Tropical Punch comparison tub. The manufacturer’s full two-scoop ingredient disclosure is the basis for the comparison.

Black Ant’s manufacturer lists, per full two-scoop serving, 5 g creatine monohydrate plus a separate 500 mg CreaSol SSAT tyrosol ingredient, 6 g L-citrulline, 4 g beta-alanine, 2.5 g betaine and 300 mg caffeine. CreaSol is not extra creatine, so this is not 5.5 g creatine.

The comparison is 4 g creatine HCl versus 5 g creatine monohydrate, not proof of equal or superior strength gains. Compare the exact form, full serving and complete stimulant label rather than calling either formula “cleaner” or a guaranteed better fit.
