Which Six Star pre-workout are you comparing?

SIXSTAR sells more than one pre-workout. This article examines Pre-Workout Explosion 2.0, using the manufacturer’s page and posted facts graphic checked on October 12, 2026 (America/Chicago). Explosion Ripped 2.0 is separately listed in the brand’s collection; older Explosion reviews and Ripped labels should not be combined into one generic Six Star formula.

One scoop versus the larger headline numbers

The Supplement Facts graphic displayed by SIXSTAR identifies one scoop as 10 g and gives approximately 30 servings. Per that single scoop, it lists:

  • 160 mg caffeine anhydrous.
  • 1.6 g beta-alanine and 1.5 g L-citrulline.
  • 1.25 g betaine anhydrous and 1 g taurine.
  • 250 mg L-tyrosine and 150 mg choline bitartrate.
  • Separately declared vitamins, minerals and electrolyte ingredients.

Doubling that portion gives 320 mg caffeine, 3.2 g beta-alanine and 3 g L-citrulline. Those larger amounts appear prominently in the marketing. They should not be copied into a one-scoop comparison. Likewise, a container described as approximately 30 single-scoop servings would supply approximately 15 double-scoop portions. That arithmetic is not a recommendation to take more.

Where the manufacturer’s material needs care

The page uses a “per serving” footnote with headline amounts, while its posted panel uses the smaller one-scoop amounts. Its current Fruit Punch photo also shows 275 g, whereas the general graphic says 10 g per scoop and approximately 30 servings. These displayed materials are not fully aligned. Confirm the actual flavor’s panel and scoop weight on your container, and ask SIXSTAR about your lot if they differ.

The website also includes a sentence about creatine, but creatine is absent from the inspected facts graphic. This review therefore does not describe Explosion 2.0 as a verified creatine-containing formula. Similarly, the brand’s banned-substance-testing wording is not treated here as proof of an independently checked sport-certification listing.

How to judge value and suitability

A lower price does not establish inferior purity, just as a premium price does not establish better results. Compare disclosed ingredients, the same portion size and final cost per usable serving. The panel provides individual amounts for the ingredients above, so a blanket claim that Six Star hides all its doses would be inaccurate.

The inspected warning is for adults 18 and older, excludes pregnancy and nursing, says to limit other caffeine, and sets a maximum of two scoops in 24 hours. Read your own tub’s complete directions; that maximum is not a target. This is a manufacturer-label assessment, without a personal taste test, independent assay or unsupported claim that switching to Bucked Up improves performance.
