SuperPump MAX is a Gaspari Nutrition pre-workout product, not a generic term for maximizing a muscle pump. Gaspari maintains a MAX New Formula listing and a separate MAX listing with a different panel. Treating those pages as one interchangeable formula produces incorrect ingredient totals.
What MAX New Formula discloses
The official Supplement Facts table, checked October 13, 2026, uses one 17.8 g scoop and 30 servings. Major entries include:
- L-citrulline: 3,000 mg
- Creatine monohydrate: 3,000 mg
- Calcium beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate monohydrate: 3,000 mg
- L-tyrosine: 1,233 mg
- L-carnitine, as L-carnitine L-tartrate: 491 mg
- AmentoPump Selaginella tamariscina extract, standardized to 12% amentoflavones: 200 mg
- Caffeine anhydrous: 200 mg
The calcium-HMB entry is a named compound, not a declaration of 3,000 mg free-acid HMB. AmentoPump’s 200 mg is extract mass; 12% corresponds mathematically to 24 mg amentoflavones, not 200 mg isolated amentoflavones. These distinctions matter when comparing forms used in research.
The accompanying manufacturer photo depicts Grape Cooler in a 534 g tub. The online table’s other-ingredients text names Fruit Punch. Do not transfer flavor-specific colors, flavorings or allergen assumptions from that text to the pictured flavor without checking its package.
The retained MAX panel differs
The separate MAX page shows a 16 g scoop, 40 servings and an 11.3 g proprietary blend. Within that blend, the displayed panel explicitly identifies 2 g L-citrulline and 1.3 g creatine monohydrate. It also names magnesium creatine chelate and caffeine without individual quantities.
The 1.3 g monohydrate entry does not establish the complete blend’s total creatine content. Likewise, the New Formula’s 200 mg caffeine should not be assigned to the older panel to fill its disclosure gap. A different scoop count does not make the formulas equivalent.
What the numbers can and cannot tell you
For a purchase comparison, first match the full product name, serving mass and back label. SuperPump Aggression and SuperPump250 are separate names within Gaspari’s wider history; their panels cannot supply missing MAX amounts.
The NIH review of exercise supplements discusses limitations in the evidence for many ingredients and combinations. A listed ingredient is not proof of guaranteed pumps, faster recovery or additional muscle growth from this finished product. Count other caffeine sources and follow the exact package warnings; caffeine tolerance differs between people.
