1UP pre-workout refers to products from 1UP Nutrition, including 1UP Pre Men and 1UP Pre Women. These are named formulas with meaningful differences. A useful comparison starts with the exact flavor and Supplement Facts panel, rather than assuming the two tubs contain the same ingredients in different packaging.
What the posted labels show
The Pre Men label examined lists a full 15 g scoop and a half-scoop column. The full scoop provides 6,000 mg citrulline, 1,500 mg Nitrosigine and 3,200 mg beta-alanine. It also lists CognatiQ and Huperzia serrata extract.
The Pre Women panel examined uses a 12.5 g full scoop. It lists the same 6,000 mg citrulline and 1,500 mg Nitrosigine, but includes 1,000 mg calcium HMB and does not list beta-alanine. These are label differences, not proof that a particular ingredient is required or unsuitable because of someone’s sex.
Count every caffeine source
Both panels include InnovaBean coffee-derived caffeine material and guarana. On the examined full-serving labels, Men lists 300 mg InnovaBean standardized to 98% caffeine plus 150 mg guarana standardized to 22%; Women lists 250 mg and 100 mg, respectively. An extract’s weight is not automatically the weight of its caffeine. Looking only at the coffee ingredient misses the guarana contribution.
Natural sourcing does not make a stimulant-free product. If a retailer advertises a different caffeine figure, ask which flavor, label revision and serving column it describes. Match that explanation to the container you will actually receive.
Making a practical choice
- Compare the full ingredient panel, including sweeteners and allergen information.
- Compare cost using the serving you intend to follow; half and full servings deliver different amounts of every ingredient.
- Read the age, medication and health-condition warnings before use.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instruction not to combine the product with other stimulants.
Brand claims about energy, pumps or a lack of crashes are not personal guarantees. This is a label comparison, not a hands-on performance test. Keep the current tub label as the final reference when packaging or online listings disagree.
