What is Batch 27 Pre-Workout?

Batch 27 is a named pre-workout product from TC Nutrition. The brand also sells Batch 27 Lite, Stim Free, and a ready-to-drink energy product, so confirm which version a listing describes. This guide covers the regular powder using manufacturer pages and label images checked on October 12, 2026.

Regular Batch 27: the current U.S. label

TC Nutrition’s U.S. Supplement Facts image provides half-scoop and full-scoop columns. One full scoop is 19 g and lists these ingredient amounts:

  • L-citrulline DL-malate 2:1: 8 g
  • Beta-alanine: 3.5 g
  • Betaine anhydrous: 2.5 g
  • L-tyrosine: 1 g
  • AGmass, from agmatine sulfate: 1 g
  • VitaCholine, from choline bitartrate: 500 mg
  • Caffeine anhydrous: 325 mg
  • L-theanine: 150 mg
  • Black pepper extract: 5 mg

The panel separately reports 200 mg of choline and 60 mg sodium per full scoop. Do not add the 200 mg choline to the 500 mg VitaCholine entry as though these were two independent choline doses.

Why the Canadian panel looks different

The Canadian manufacturer page shows a medicinal-ingredients panel that distinguishes active constituents from the ingredient materials used to supply them. Its full-scoop column lists 5,280 mg L-citrulline from citrulline malate, while the adjacent callout describes 8 g citrulline malate 2:1. Similarly, it lists 570 mg agmatine from agmatine sulfate beside a 1 g agmatine-sulfate callout.

Those numbers describe different quantities, so they should not be substituted for each other in comparisons. The Canadian panel also reports 200 mg choline beside a 500 mg VitaCholine callout. Use the label for your market and package when checking a retailer’s description.

Full scoop versus half scoop

The U.S. panel lists 20 full-scoop servings or 40 half-scoop servings per container. A half scoop is 9.5 g and contains 162.5 mg caffeine, 4 g citrulline malate, and 1.75 g beta-alanine. A headline advertising 40 servings should therefore be read alongside its serving definition.

The U.S. page instructs mixing one scoop with 10–12 oz water, 15–30 minutes before exercise, with a maximum of one serving daily. It directs new or caffeine-sensitive users to begin with half a scoop. Follow the actual package’s complete directions and warnings.

What to verify before buying

Match the regular powder’s name, country-specific label, serving weight, and caffeine amount to the tub being sold. Keep Lite, Stim Free, and energy-drink specifications separate. Manufacturer ingredient disclosures help compare formulas, but do not establish taste, individual response, or a guaranteed training result.
