Bucked Up Original: The Baseline Formula
Bucked Up Original is the middle-of-the-road reference point in the Bucked Up lineup: more stimulation than a non-stim product, but substantially less than BAMF, WOKE AF or Mother Bucker.
Ingredients Per Serving
The current manufacturer ingredient list gives 6,000 mg citrulline malate 2:1, 2,000 mg beta-alanine, 200 mg caffeine and 200 mg GPCgold™ Alpha GPC 50%, plus taurine, Himalayan salt, deer antler velvet, AstraGin® and Senactiv®. Its FAQ still names AlphaSize® 50%, so check the exact flavor label for the branded source. Either 200 mg of a 50% material represents 100 mg alpha-GPC, not 200 mg pure alpha-GPC. Citrulline malate is also not the same quantity as pure L-citrulline.
What Those Doses Mean
Caffeine supplies acute stimulation. Citrulline is involved in nitric-oxide production, but the evidence does not guarantee that this finished product improves a particular workout. Beta-alanine is different: its useful effect comes from consistent intake raising muscle carnosine, so the tingles after a scoop are not the mechanism you are chasing.
Who Should Choose Original?
It makes the most sense for someone who wants a conventional 200 mg caffeine pre-workout rather than a 300–400 mg high-stim product. That does not make 200 mg appropriate for everyone or make higher-stimulant formulas an upgrade. PUMP-OCALYPSE is a separate caffeine-free option; compare its complete label rather than assuming caffeine-free means risk-free.
The FDA’s 400 mg daily caffeine reference applies to most adults and is not a recommended single dose or a guarantee for multi-ingredient supplements. Individual sensitivity varies; follow the product warnings. The NIH exercise-supplement review also explains why research on an ingredient cannot establish the effects of every finished mixture.
