Cannibal Ferox is a specific pre-workout made by Chaos and Pain. It is not a generic name for an aggressive stimulant blend. The version reviewed here is the standard Cannibal Ferox page and its black-and-gold Supplement Facts panel, checked October 12, 2026. This is a label-based guide, not a hands-on test.
The 450 mg caffeine figure matters
The manufacturer’s panel lists 450 mg caffeine anhydrous per 16.3 g scoop, with 25 servings per container. That single-serving amount exceeds the FDA’s 400 mg daily reference for most adults. The reference is neither a recommended target nor a guarantee that a smaller dose is suitable for everyone.
Other active ingredients are present too. A history of using caffeine does not establish tolerance to this combination. Do not combine it with another stimulant pre-workout, energy drink or fat burner. A clinician or pharmacist should review the complete label if you are considering it, particularly with medications or a medical condition.
Selected amounts on the current online panel
The manufacturer’s Supplement Facts image lists:
- L-citrulline malate 2:1: 6,000 mg
- Beta-alanine: 3,200 mg; betaine anhydrous: 2,500 mg
- Arugula extract, NitroRocket: 1,500 mg; L-tyrosine: 750 mg
- Caffeine anhydrous: 450 mg
- English walnut bark extract, Juglans regia: 400 mg
- Synephrine HCl: 50 mg; yohimbine HCl: 3 mg
- Rauwolfia vomitoria extract, standardized to at least 90% alpha-yohimbine: 2 mg
The panel also lists a cocoa extract identified as 20% theobromine at 200 mg, Mucuna pruriens standardized to 98% L-Dopa at 150 mg, green tea extract at 50 mg and a huperzine ingredient. Read the source panel in full. An extract’s listed weight should not automatically be reported as the weight of its isolated active compound.
Keep the versions separate
Chaos and Pain’s Cannibal Series collection lists Cannibal Ferox, Cannibal Ferox AMPeD and a Ferox EU product separately. Do not copy this panel onto those versions or an older tub. The Blue Hawaiian image accompanying this guide identifies the standard product, not AMPeD.
What marketing cannot settle
Terms such as high-stim, thermogenic and no-crash do not establish comparative effectiveness or freedom from adverse effects. NCCIH flags important risks associated with yohimbine; the presence of multiple ingredients makes a simple caffeine-only comparison incomplete.
Nor does six grams of citrulline malate equal six grams of pure L-citrulline. Before comparing price, verify the exact formula, serving basis, warnings and expiration information. A larger ingredient list is not automatically an advantage.
Bucked Up items appearing separately are commercial alternatives. They are not Cannibal Ferox versions, and this guide does not establish that either brand is safer or performs better.
