Jocko Pre-Workout Is Not JOCKO GO
Jocko Fuel sells an actual Jocko Pre-Workout powder. JOCKO GO is a separate energy drink, so the names should not be treated interchangeably. This review covers the standard powder; Pro Series Pre-Workout is another formula with 300 mg caffeine per serving.
Current Jocko Pre-Workout
The standard Fruit Punch Supplement Facts list 200 mg caffeine, 6 g L-citrulline, 3.2 g beta-alanine and 2.5 g betaine anhydrous per 19.8 g scoop, with 30 servings per container. The panel also lists 500 mg N-acetyl-L-carnitine hydrochloride, 50 mg theobromine and 62.5 mg Dynamine™ 40%, yielding 25 mg methylliberine. The caffeine figure therefore does not describe its entire stimulant profile.
Jocko vs Bucked Up Original
Bucked Up Original also uses 200 mg caffeine but pairs it with 6 g citrulline malate 2:1, 2 g beta-alanine and 200 mg of a 50% alpha-GPC ingredient. The current Franken Juice panel names that ingredient GPCgold™; 200 mg of the 50% ingredient corresponds to about 100 mg alpha-GPC.
Jocko has the higher beta-alanine dose and includes 2.5 g betaine; Bucked Up uses a different focus/support stack. Also distinguish 6 g pure L-citrulline in Jocko from 6 g citrulline malate 2:1 in Original: those are different ingredient weights. Compare the complete labels rather than assuming equal caffeine means identical effects.
