Why Use a Non-Stim Pump Pre-Workout?
A stimulant-free pump formula is marketed for training support without caffeine. It may be an option for evening sessions or caffeine avoidance, but read the complete formula: “caffeine-free” alone does not rule out other stimulants, and neither term guarantees suitability.
PUMP-OCALYPSE
PUMP-OCALYPSE lists, on its Blueberry Pomegranate panel, one 12.4 g scoop with 3.5 g HydroPrime® glycerol powder standardized to at least 65% glycerol, 3 g L-citrulline, 1 g PeakO2®, 1 g arginine HCl, 500 mg agmatine sulfate and 500 mg betaine—with no caffeine. The HydroPrime powder supplies at least 2.275 g glycerol at that stated concentration; 3.5 g is not a pure-glycerol amount. Serving weights can differ by flavor.
What to Compare
Look at actual doses of citrulline and glycerol, other nitric-oxide ingredients, hydration support and whether the formula overlaps with anything else you plan to stack. A pump sensation is not proof of muscle growth or of a finished supplement’s effectiveness. Water, ordinary nutrition and training still matter; a pump powder is not automatically a complete electrolyte replacement.
The manufacturer’s current directions and warnings should be checked even when avoiding stimulants. They include restrictions for pregnancy, nursing and medical conditions, and advice to consult a physician when using medications or other supplements. Do not infer universal stacking safety from zero caffeine.
