What the Rejen name tells you
Rejen appears as a fulvic mineral complex in Black Ant. The manufacturer lists 100 mg per full serving and describes an absorption-support purpose. That verifies what the formula claims to contain; it does not establish that users absorb more creatine or recover faster.
Fulvic materials can differ in composition and processing. A trademark is not enough to show that a complex matches another published intervention. The amount of a mixed material also should not automatically be presented as the amount of pure fulvic acid.
Research that should not be overextended
A small phase-one human study investigated carbohydrate-derived fulvic acid for short-term safety and allergy-related effects. It did not test Rejen, lifting performance or creatine transport.
Another trial tested purified shilajit, a multi-constituent material, in young men. Its 250 and 500 mg daily protocols differ from Rejen’s listed amount. Neither material identity nor efficacy can be transferred simply because both are associated with fulvic substances.
We did not identify a peer-reviewed human trial of the listed Rejen serving demonstrating greater muscle creatine uptake, faster post-workout repair or fewer cramps. This is a limit of the evidence found, rather than a claim that no research exists on any fulvic material.
Evaluate the whole pre-workout
Black Ant’s full serving contains 5 g creatine and 300 mg caffeine across two scoops. One scoop contains 150 mg caffeine. Follow the directions on your purchased container and avoid caffeine from other sources while using it.
Look at the product’s complete ingredient list before deciding whether it fits your routine. A feeling of energy, a temporary pump or a good workout cannot identify Rejen as the cause. The commercial blend has several plausible contributors and has not been established here as a controlled trial equivalent.
Keep creatine accounting simple
Standalone creatine monohydrate allows separate daily dosing. If your pre-workout already supplies your planned 3–5 g maintenance amount, adding another full serving is not automatically beneficial. Check the creatine label and total all sources before stacking.
Do not increase a caffeinated formula to obtain more Rejen or imitate an unrelated study. Absorption claims are not a reason to exceed directions, and a supplement should not be used to compensate for insufficient sleep, food or recovery time.
Questions worth asking before buying
- What is the complex’s standardized composition?
- Is there direct human evidence for this material, amount and intended outcome?
- Can the manufacturer provide relevant contaminant testing?
Discuss use with a clinician when medications or medical conditions are involved. Treat unverified claims about better hydration, cramp prevention or nutrient delivery cautiously.
