RYSE Blackout pre-workout refers to RYSE Project Blackout PRE, a specific high-stimulant supplement. Its nitrate-based formula should not be described as a generic “blackout-style” blend or confused with the separate Blackout PUMP product. The Tiger’s Blood serving and formula
The official Supplement Facts image specifies one 12.6 g scoop and 25 servings per container. Its principal declared ingredients are:
- Beta-alanine: 3.2 g
- Choline bitartrate, as VitaCholine: 1.5 g
- Betaine anhydrous: 1.5 g
- Betaine nitrate: 1 g; sodium nitrate: 500 mg
- Calcium potassium phosphate citrate, as Calci-K: 500 mg
- Caffeine anhydrous: 370 mg
- Theobromine: 200 mg
- VitaShure sustained-release caffeine ingredient: 46 mg
- Huperzia serrata extract: 10 mg, standardized to at least 1% huperzine A
The 1.5 g choline-bitartrate ingredient supplies the separately declared 610 mg choline; those are not two independent choline doses. Similarly, the nitrate-compound weights do not mean 1.5 g of pure nitrate. L-citrulline is not listed on this panel.
Why the caffeine headline is about 400 mg
VitaShure is labeled at a minimum 60% caffeine. Its 46 mg ingredient weight therefore contributes approximately 28 mg caffeine at that standardization, alongside 370 mg anhydrous caffeine. RYSE’s historical product copy markets the combination as 400 mg active caffeine. Adding 370 and 46 as if both were pure caffeine would misread the label.
FDA’s 400 mg daily reference applies generally to most adults, varies with individual sensitivity and is not a target or personal safety guarantee. This serving alone is approximately that amount before coffee or other caffeine. Avoid combining stimulant products, and discuss medications or relevant health conditions with a clinician.
Historical label, separate product identities
The old manufacturer listing remains indexed, but direct retrieval returned a missing page during this review. The official label and product-image files were still accessible. That supports this historical formula description, not a claim of current stock, fresh inventory or an unchanged formula.
Match the actual tub’s flavor, panel, expiry and directions before buying. Project Blackout PUMP, Loaded Pre and Godzilla have different identities. Compare their own labels rather than transferring this caffeine figure or nitrate formula across the RYSE range. This is a label review, not a taste test or measured workout comparison.
