Witch’s Brew is an Alani Nu flavor
“Witches brew pre workout” commonly refers to Alani Nu’s Witch’s Brew caramel-apple flavor. It is not a generic category of mixed-stimulant powders. A 2022 GNC announcement featuring Alani Nu’s founder documented the flavor in both pre-workout powder and ready-to-drink energy cans. Those formats should be identified separately.
The current Alani Nu Witch’s Brew page reviewed for this guide is for the energy drink. It describes green apple and caramel and lists 200 mg caffeine, zero sugar and 15 calories per 12 fl oz can. Those are beverage facts, not a substitute for a powder’s Supplement Facts.
If you are looking for the powder
Look for a listing that explicitly says pre-workout powder and shows the complete panel for that exact flavor, serving size and market. A can photograph or the word “energy” does not confirm that you are buying the powder. Similarly, another Alani flavor’s old panel cannot establish a current Witch’s Brew formula.
A current manufacturer powder listing and its present availability could not be verified during this review. That does not prove the product is discontinued. The historical announcement establishes that powder existed; it does not establish current stock, a current recipe or the condition of a reseller’s remaining inventory.
Before buying older or seasonal stock, check the seal, best-before date, seller and return conditions. If a seller supplies only a front image, obtain the directions and ingredient panel before choosing it for a specific dose.
Energy drink versus pre-workout supplement
The manufacturer’s canned-drink ingredient list includes taurine, L-theanine and caffeine, among other ingredients, but does not disclose an individual amount for every ingredient. Do not invent “clinical doses,” pump effects or superior recovery from that list. A familiar flavor also does not imply identical ingredients across formats.
FDA guidance notes that sensitivity to caffeine varies. Avoid combining the can with caffeinated pre-workout or other stimulant supplements. Follow the product warning, which excludes children, caffeine-sensitive people, pregnancy and nursing. Ask a clinician or pharmacist about medications and medical conditions before using stimulant products.
Keep the Bucked Up alternatives separate
WOKE AF and BAMF are different Bucked Up products, not Witch’s Brew flavors or Alani Nu equivalents. Their labels require an independent comparison; a stronger stimulant sensation is not proof of a better training result. This article does not report a taste test or a controlled comparison.
