What is WOKE AF?
WOKE AF is Bucked Up’s high-stimulant pre-workout. Its standard U.S. product page lists 333 mg caffeine per serving together with dendrobium and synephrine. That combination matters more than the brand’s promises about extreme energy or focus.
This overview uses the official page checked in October 2026. The selected flavor’s Supplement Facts and warnings should resolve any difference from web copy or an older container.
The key ingredients, with realistic expectations
- Caffeine, 333 mg: can improve alertness and some exercise outcomes, but also has dose-related side effects. No special benefit is established by choosing exactly 333 mg.
- Citrulline malate 2:1, 6 g: a mixture containing citrulline and malate, not 6 g of pure L-citrulline. Pump sensations do not demonstrate greater muscle growth.
- Beta-alanine, 3.2 g: intended to raise muscle carnosine through repeated intake. The immediate tingle is not proof that endurance has improved.
- Dendrobium and synephrine: the manufacturer markets these as additional stimulants. Their inclusion does not establish safe sustained energy, fat loss or a crash-free experience.
- Alpha-GPC: the current detailed page names GPCgold Alpha GPC 50%; earlier descriptions used AlphaSize. It does not list huperzine A as part of the current standard WOKE AF formula.
The NIH exercise-supplement guide distinguishes stronger ingredient evidence from limited evidence. Research on an ingredient is not a clinical trial of this exact finished product.
The stimulant warnings deserve attention
The manufacturer says not to exceed one scoop within 24 hours, not to combine WOKE AF with other caffeinated products, and not to use it during pregnancy or nursing. It is labeled for adults 18 and older, with advice to consult a physician about prescription or over-the-counter medication use. These are product warnings, not an assurance that one scoop is appropriate for every adult.
The FDA’s commonly cited 400 mg/day figure is not a recommended workout dose. Caffeine sensitivity varies, and this formula adds other ingredients. NCCIH describes uncertainty around bitter-orange benefits and cardiovascular safety; reports involving multi-ingredient products do not prove which ingredient caused an adverse event.
Compare alternatives without stacking them
Read the current WOKE AF product details if considering the formula. Training experience does not make symptoms such as palpitations, anxiety or insomnia inconsequential.
Bucked Up Original lists 200 mg caffeine on its standard page. That is lower exposure, but it still can disrupt sleep and is not automatically suitable for a caffeine-sensitive person.
PUMP-OCALYPSE is marketed as a stimulant-free option. Check its complete label and warnings rather than treating it as something that must be stacked with WOKE AF. More ingredients are not necessary for every workout.
