BSN NO Xplode Pre Workout: Caffeine, Blends and Directions

BSN N.O.-XPLODE Blue Raz pre-workout, 30-serving 555 g tub
Standard U.S. N.O.-XPLODE in BSN’s Blue Raz product imagery. The article also references the manufacturer’s separately published 16-serving label.

Which BSN NO Xplode does this cover?

BSN N.O.-XPLODE is a named pre-workout line, and the exact version matters. This guide covers the standard product on BSN’s current U.S. store, checked October 11, 2026. The store separately lists N.O.-XPLODE VASO and Cool Rush. Their branding should not be used to assume identical ingredients.

BSN states that the standard formula supplies 275 mg caffeine and 1.8 g beta-alanine per serving. Those are manufacturer declarations, not results of independent testing by this site.

What the current label does and does not disclose

The published Blue Raz 16-serving panel gives a serving weight of 18.5 g, approximately one scoop. It organizes several ingredients into blends, including a 5.1 g Myogenic Matrix containing creatine monohydrate and taurine, and a 1 g N.O. Alpha Fusion blend containing L-citrulline malate and botanical ingredients.

A blend’s total weight does not disclose the dose of each component. The 5.1 g matrix therefore cannot be reported as 5.1 g creatine, and the 1 g Alpha Fusion entry cannot be reported as 1 g citrulline. This limits precise comparisons with products that disclose every active ingredient individually.

Mixing instructions are unusually important here

BSN directs users to mix one scoop with 4–6 fluid ounces of cold water 20–30 minutes before training. Its explicit instruction is to stir the powder and avoid shaking it. Do not automatically apply another supplement’s shaker-bottle directions to N.O.-XPLODE.

Think about total caffeine and usable servings

At the stated 275 mg caffeine per serving, other caffeine sources remain relevant. The FDA notes substantial differences in caffeine sensitivity and identifies sleep problems, jitters and other unwanted effects as possible signs of excessive intake. “Less than a stronger pre-workout” is not enough to establish personal suitability.

Compare the price of the exact tub size and flavor you intend to buy. Keep serving size consistent across products, and separate disclosed quantities from undisclosed blend components. Brand history and consumer ratings can be context, but they cannot fill gaps in ingredient dosing.

Our assessment is label-based. We cannot honestly rank its taste, mixing quality or training effects without firsthand testing. Its caffeine amount, blend structure and stir-only directions are the concrete details to carry into a buying decision.
