Which C4 Shred formula are you looking at?
The current Cellucor product is C4 Ultimate Shred, a caffeinated powder marketed for training and weight-management support. The manufacturer’s Pink Lemonade image identifies a fifth-generation formula and 20 servings. A shortened search term such as “C4 Shred” is not enough to identify the ingredient panel on an older tub.
Current formula versus older descriptions
Cellucor’s current product page advertises 300 mg caffeine alongside TeaCrine and Dynamine, which should not be counted as additional caffeine. Its named ingredients include a VELOX combination of L-arginine and L-citrulline, CarnoSyn beta-alanine, BetaPower betaine, PeptiPump, tyrosine and huperzine A. The weight-management section names cayenne extract, CaloriBurn grains of paradise, MitoBurn and Oligonol.
By contrast, Cellucor’s 2019 caffeine guide describes an earlier Ultimate Shred containing Capsimax, Oligonol, DygloFit and BioPerine. It also lists 300 mg caffeine per scoop. The repeated caffeine number does not make these ingredient lists interchangeable. Do not transfer an older review’s serving weight, ingredient amounts or directions to the fifth-generation product.
What this check could not verify
The current manufacturer page reviewed on October 13, 2026 did not expose a complete readable Supplement Facts panel or allergen declaration. Consequently, this review does not assign exact amounts to its other ingredients or confirm its allergen status. Check the physical tub’s serving size, full ingredients, allergy statement and directions before buying or using it. A front-of-pack image cannot answer those questions.
Caffeine and warning checks
Cellucor restricts use to healthy adults aged 18 or older. Its warning excludes pregnancy, nursing, nitrate medication and PDE-5 inhibitors, and says not to combine the product with other caffeine or stimulants. It calls for healthcare advice regarding medications or medical conditions, stopping two weeks before surgery, and discontinuing use if adverse effects occur.
“Shred” is a product name, not evidence that a serving will produce a predictable amount of fat loss. Ingredient marketing should not be read as a guarantee of appetite control, calorie expenditure or results.
