GNC Alani Nu Pre-Workout: Original vs Pre-Workout+

Purple Alani Nu Pre-Workout Plus Frozen Lemonade tub marked 30 servings and 300 mg caffeine
Alani Nu Pre-Workout+ Frozen Lemonade, the 300 mg caffeine version listed by GNC. Original Alani Nu Pre-Workout has a different formula.

GNC Alani Nu pre-workout means shopping for an Alani Nu product through GNC. The retailer name does not specify the formula. GNC’s current brand listing includes Pre-Workout+, while Alani Nu also maintains a separate original Pre-Workout line. Check the plus sign and full product name before comparing tubs.

The GNC Pre-Workout+ example

The GNC listing reviewed here is Pre-Workout+ Frozen Lemonade, 30 servings, item 561567. Its panel lists 300 mg caffeine, 8 g citrulline malate in a 2:1 ratio, 2 g beta-alanine and 200 mg L-theanine per full scoop. It also lists 200 mg choline, 100 mg theobromine and 100 mcg huperzine-A.

Alani Nu’s own Frozen Lemonade page corroborates the main formula quantities and identifies a 13 g serving. These are product-label facts. Phrases about better pumps, hydration or focus are marketing claims, not guaranteed outcomes for every person.

How original Pre-Workout differs

The brand’s original Breezeberry Pre-Workout page lists 200 mg caffeine, 6 g citrulline malate, 1.6 g beta-alanine, 500 mg L-tyrosine and 200 mg L-theanine. Do not apply those figures to the Plus tub. Likewise, a photograph of historical Alani Nu Pump Stim Free or a ready-to-drink energy can would represent a different product.

Citrulline malate is a combined ingredient. Eight grams of a 2:1 blend should not be reported as eight grams of pure L-citrulline. Preserve the exact ingredient name when comparing it with formulas that list L-citrulline alone.

What to check before checkout

  • Match the product version, flavor and Supplement Facts panel.
  • Compare cost per full labeled serving, including any delivery charge.
  • Check whether an offer requires a subscription, membership or multiple items.
  • Confirm current availability for your chosen delivery or pickup location.

Do not assume that a general brand page proves every flavor is stocked locally. The selected product and fulfillment choice determine what can actually be purchased.

Plus supplies 100 mg more caffeine per full scoop than the original example. Neither theanine nor flavor makes that caffeine disappear. Count other sources, follow the package warnings and seek professional advice for medication or medical-condition questions. Choose by the exact formula rather than treating a stronger version as an automatic upgrade.
