Pre-Kaged Sport is now called Kaged Pre-Workout Sport. Kaged’s official naming update explains that the packaging and product names changed while the formulas stayed the same during that transition. Sport remains a separate product from original Pre-Kaged, now called Pre-Workout, and from Pre-Workout Elite.
The Sport label, rather than another Kaged formula
The current Pink Lemonade Sport label examined uses one 13.2 g scoop, with approximately 20 servings. It lists 188 mg PurCaf caffeine from green coffee beans, 3.5 g L-citrulline, 1.6 g CarnoSyn beta-alanine and 1.25 g betaine anhydrous.
Other listed ingredients include 2 g taurine, 500 mg coconut fruit water powder and 500 mg fermented L-tyrosine. The panel reports 45 mg sodium and 20 mg magnesium. These quantities are useful comparison points; the presence of a hydration section does not make a scoop a complete fluid-and-electrolyte plan for every sport.
Pink Lemonade lists steviol glycosides and sucralose among its other ingredients and identifies coconut in its allergen statement. Check your own flavor’s panel because scoop weight, flavoring and other ingredients can differ.
What to check if you compete
Informed Sport maintains a product and batch listing for Pre-Workout Sport. Match the lot number on your tub to the certification database rather than relying only on a logo or a retailer’s claim. Certification is a separate question from whether a product improves your particular workout.
Practical expectations and directions
Kaged directs users to mix one scoop with 8–12 ounces of cold water and sip it about 30 minutes before exercise. Follow the complete container warnings. Coffee-derived caffeine is still caffeine, so account for it when reviewing other drinks, supplements and medication with a qualified professional.
Beta-alanine research generally involves repeated use over weeks; tingling after a scoop is not proof of an immediate endurance benefit. The NIH sports-supplement review also cautions that evidence for single ingredients cannot establish the effects of every multi-ingredient combination.
The useful choice starts with the Sport label and your training requirements, not an assumption that every black Kaged tub is interchangeable.
