Transparent Labs LEAN is a specific caffeinated pre-workout. The manufacturer markets it for cutting and metabolic support. This guide uses the U.S. Strawberry Lemonade product and its flavor-specific Supplement Facts, checked October 13, 2026. The word “LEAN” identifies the formula; it does not establish how much body fat someone will lose.
The Strawberry Lemonade serving
The label uses one 14.2 g scoop and 30 servings, with 5 calories and 1 g carbohydrate. Selected ingredient amounts per serving are:
- Citrulline malate 2:1: 6 g.
- Beta-alanine: 2 g; betaine anhydrous: 1.5 g.
- Acetyl-L-carnitine HCl: 1 g.
- Choline bitartrate: 500 mg.
- PurCaf organic caffeine: 180 mg; L-theanine: 180 mg.
- Theobromine: 50 mg; BioPerine black pepper extract: 5 mg.
- Huperzine A: 100 micrograms.
The panel also lists iodine, zinc, selenium, copper and chromium. Huperzine A is stated in micrograms, not milligrams. Keep those units intact when checking a review against your package.
What is absent, and what the amounts mean
This panel does not list creatine or grains of paradise. Neither should be added to LEAN’s formula merely because it appears in discussions of performance or thermogenic supplements. The Transparent Labs LEAN page and the actual label are the relevant product references.
The 6 g citrulline-malate entry is a combined ingredient, not 6 g pure citrulline. Choline bitartrate similarly is a compound rather than pure choline. Theobromine should remain a separate entry instead of being added to the caffeine milligrams. “Organic” describes the caffeine ingredient; it does not establish that sleep effects or individual sensitivity disappear.
How to read the cutting claims
The product page’s fat-loss and body-composition language is manufacturer positioning. It does not by itself verify a particular result from this finished formula. The NIH overview of weight-loss supplements notes limited evidence for many marketed products and explains why studies of individual ingredients cannot settle the effects of every combination.
A pre-workout label therefore cannot predict changes on the scale, guarantee muscle retention during dieting or replace an appropriate nutrition and activity plan. Feeling stimulated after a scoop is not a measurement of body-fat loss.
Keep LEAN separate from other Transparent Labs products
BULK, BULK BLACK and Stim-Free have separate formulas. Compare their own labels rather than treating the product names as instructions to combine them. The pictured LEAN Strawberry Lemonade tub corresponds to this article’s 30-serving, 14.2 g label basis; other flavors or revisions require their own check.
The FDA caffeine guidance recommends considering all sources and individual sensitivity. Follow the container’s warnings and discuss the full formula with a clinician if medications or health conditions affect your choice. This review establishes label details, without a personal taste test, a fat-loss trial or a blanket safety endorsement.
