Mr. HYDE Xtreme is a ProSupps pre-workout, not a generic description of an intense formula. The current manufacturer page calls it Xtreme V2. Its Blue Razz front shows 30 servings and 430.80 g net weight, matching the linked panel’s 30 portions of 14.36 g. Other HYDE products and older Xtreme labels should be reviewed separately.
What the posted V2 panel says
The manufacturer’s 30-serving facts image lists the following per scoop:
- 3.2 g beta-alanine, 3 g L-citrulline and 2.5 g creatine monohydrate
- 500 mg choline bitartrate, 350 mg N-acetyl-L-tyrosine and 50 mg GABA
- 400 mg caffeine anhydrous
- 62.5 mg Dynamine preparation at 40% methylliberine, yielding 25 mg methylliberine
- 2 mg yohimbe bark extract standardized to 2% yohimbine
- A separate 2 mg ingredient written as “Yohimbe HCl” on the panel
- 0.5 mg alpha-yohimbine HCl / rauwolscine
- 30 mg niacin
Matrix weight is not caffeine content
The 462.5 mg stimulant-matrix total is 400 mg caffeine plus 62.5 mg of the Dynamine preparation. It does not mean 462.5 mg caffeine or 62.5 mg pure methylliberine. Likewise, the 8.7 g performance-matrix total is the sum of beta-alanine, citrulline and creatine; it is not an additional ingredient to add again.
Standardization matters for the botanical entry: 2% of 2 mg is 0.04 mg. That calculation concerns the listed bark extract only. It does not convert the separate “Yohimbe HCl” or rauwolscine entries into equivalent amounts of yohimbine. The unusual HCl wording should be clarified with ProSupps rather than silently corrected.
The manufacturer page contradicts its panel
The Xtreme V2 webpage warning still says 378 mg caffeine, despite linking the 400 mg facts image. Its ingredient glossary also describes older components, including creatine HCl and additional caffeine forms, that do not match that image. This guide reports the discrepancy instead of averaging the numbers or choosing the lower one.
Before treating a web description as instructions for a container, obtain confirmation of the flavor, lot and complete panel from the manufacturer. A familiar product name or matching color scheme does not resolve conflicting composition data. The Blue Razz photograph helps identify packaging, not its measured contents.
How to interpret the comparison
The FDA’s 400 mg daily caffeine reference concerns most adults and total daily intake. It is not a target for a concentrated serving, an individualized allowance or clearance of this multi-stimulant formula. The manufacturer also warns against taking Xtreme with other caffeine or stimulant products.
Compare ingredient forms and serving sizes rather than promised intensity. Choline bitartrate weight is not the same field as a label declaring choline itself; N-acetyl-L-tyrosine is not identical to L-tyrosine. This is a label audit, with no claim of personal testing, superior results, safe stacking or suitability based on stimulant tolerance.
