BZRK is a specific pre-workout sold by Black Magic Supply. This review covers the standard powder shown on the manufacturer’s current listing. It does not transfer ingredients from Voodoo, Overdrive, Blackout or older BZRK releases. The product name and dramatic packaging are not evidence of a particular stimulant dose or training result.
What the shared Supplement Facts disclose
The manufacturer’s shared BZRK panel specifies approximately one 20.17 g scoop and 25 servings. It lists:
- 7 g L-citrulline DL-malate, labeled 2:1
- 3.2 g Beta-O, identified as beta-alanine and orotic acid
- 2.5 g GlycerPump, identified as 65% glycerol powder
- 1.62 g Possessed Matrix
- 1 g betaine anhydrous
- 75 mg CognatiQ whole-coffee-fruit extract
- 50 mg AstraGin
The Possessed Matrix names L-tyrosine, caffeine anhydrous, Adhatoda vasaka extract, an ingredient labeled kola nut, extended-release caffeine and a huperzine-A preparation. Individual quantities are not disclosed. In particular, this panel does not provide a total caffeine amount.
Why the ingredient forms matter
Seven grams of citrulline malate cannot be described as seven grams of pure L-citrulline. The 3.2 g Beta-O entry likewise covers two named components, without splitting their amounts. Calling it 3.2 g of pure beta-alanine would overstate what the panel establishes.
The glycerol entry permits a narrower calculation: 2.5 g multiplied by 65% equals 1.625 g glycerol on the stated specification. That is label arithmetic, not an independent assay. The extended-release caffeine preparation is marked 72%, but its preparation weight is undisclosed, so that percentage cannot establish the caffeine contribution.
A blend’s total weight cannot fill those gaps. Dividing 1.62 g equally among its components would invent doses; ingredient order alone does not solve the missing values. Older reviews quoting an exact caffeine figure are not verification of this current shared panel.
Two inconsistencies need clarification
The current product listing displays a Cosmic Burst front marked 460 g, while 25 portions of the shared panel’s 20.17 g would total 504.25 g. This could reflect different flavor or packaging material, but the available evidence does not settle which. The shared serving weight should not be assigned to every flavor as a verified fact.
The botanical described as kola nut is paired with the scientific name Areca catechu and “leaf.” This review preserves that labeling issue without guessing the intended botanical. Ask the manufacturer for a corrected, flavor-specific label and complete stimulant disclosure before relying on a comparison.
What an honest assessment can conclude
Standard BZRK has some individually disclosed ingredient weights alongside an incompletely disclosed matrix. That supports a limited label analysis, not a precise stimulant ranking. NIH notes that multi-ingredient exercise supplements require their own evaluation; research on one component does not prove the entire product’s effects.
No taste test, independent purity test or recommendation to combine BZRK with another pre-workout is implied. The useful next comparison starts with a consistent exact-flavor panel, not stronger marketing language or a larger scoop.
