“Nitro Surge pre workout” usually refers to Jacked Factory Nitrosurge, a specific caffeinated powder. It is not a generic name for stimulant-free pump products. The manufacturer describes standard Nitrosurge as creatine-free, while Pumpsurge is a separately named product with a different ingredient list.
Read the two label columns together
The manufacturer’s reference Supplement Facts graphic, checked on October 13, 2026, lists one scoop at 8.4 g and two scoops at 16.8 g. Its container provides 30 one-scoop servings or 15 two-scoop servings. The respective amounts are:
- L-citrulline: 3 g / 6 g
- Beta-alanine: 1.6 g / 3.2 g
- Betaine anhydrous: 1.25 g / 2.5 g
- Caffeine anhydrous: 180 mg / 360 mg
- L-theanine: 90 mg / 180 mg
- Theobromine: 50 mg / 100 mg
- AstraGin: 25 mg / 50 mg
Moving from the first column to the second doubles every listed ingredient, including caffeine. It does not selectively increase the pump-related ingredients. The 6 g citrulline and 3.2 g beta-alanine headlines therefore belong to the two-scoop column of this panel.
Flavor and container size still matter
The Watermelon tub pictured here is labeled 30 servings and 240 g. It is a genuine manufacturer photo, but its package weight differs from the page-level 8.4 g reference scoop. Use the matching flavor’s actual back label for scoop weight, other ingredients and warnings rather than treating every Nitrosurge tub as identical.
For value comparisons, use the number of portions corresponding to the serving being compared. A 30-scoop container divided into two-scoop portions provides 15 uses. That arithmetic does not mean a person should increase the amount to obtain the advertised ingredient totals.
Creatine-free does not mean stimulant-free
Nitrosurge contains caffeine even though it omits creatine. Betaine is a separate ingredient and should not be entered as creatine in a supplement log. Likewise, the reviewed panel does not list glycerol, Nitrosigine or an electrolyte complex; those ingredients cannot be assumed from a “pump” description.
Pumpsurge is the brand’s separately marketed stimulant-free option. Substituting that name changes the product under discussion and requires its own label comparison.
Set expectations from evidence
The NIH review describes beta-alanine studies involving repeated supplementation; tingling is not proof of immediate performance improvement. Ingredient evidence also does not guarantee results for this exact mixture.
The FDA advises accounting for all caffeine sources. Follow the actual container’s directions and warnings, and do not mistake two-scoop label arithmetic for a personalized recommendation.
